I made the triptych " I see you" during the first wave of pandemic in Germany while I was contemplating how it all will affect the world and our perception of each other. Each painting is dedicated to different ways of uprooting yourself and finding connection in times of anxiety, through reflection in and comparing oneself to the others, through finding yourself in nature or through submitting yourself to higher power.

My work depicts my worries about the intimacy, trust and uprising polarisation of society.
