Malena wants to finance her gender affirmation through sex work. Tehamour and Lucy share their experiences and prepare their friend for her first date.

  
The second chapter of Bal des Putes was conceived for the opening of Perf Putes at the SNAP festival in Brussels. 

The play takes place in a shared flat of sex workers, giving access to their intimacy thanks to a multi-media, multi-disciplinary staging that combines 3D projection, singing and dance.

  
It is difficult to talk about sex work without glorifying or stigmatising it. Anyone can be a whore. If you're sitting in a restaurant, there's probably one around you. They are everywhere, they have always existed and they will always exist. It is impossible to stop them. instead, they are limited in the most humiliating and infantilising way. So we decided to group up and create our own narrative.

  
We are a collective of artists interested in power dynamics and sexuality within sex work. The Hooker Ball is a play written by 5 pairs of hands, at the crossroads between documentary, cabaret and theater. 

Kathrin, Tehani and Margot-Andréa are erotic performers, each with a singular approach. Kathrin surprises with political and comic numbers, Tehani captivates her audience with slick choreography to sweaty rnb tunes, and Margot-Andréa weaves an intimate universe between honey and darkness. Outside the cabaret, Kathrin is an escort. This is also the case for Gabi, who finances her gender affirmation with it. Angie, the only male member of the troupe, is an actor who has made the experience of being a client and who actively works on his sexuality. 

Many people have an opinion about sex work without having any basis. These opinions can be toxic and stigmatizing for sex workers. We would like to share the diverse opinions of those who are in this world and reappropriate the narratives about us. We will show the solidarity that exists between sex workers, the way we communicate, the way we train in a wild dance. We will open a window, however small, on the world of eroticism and sex.

  
The show takes the form of a queer-feminist cabaret. Several chapters navigate the audience through our worlds. We want to make this cabaret a space in which we take power, a space of display and experimentation, protean and multiple. We will replay our own stories: we will stage ourselves through a series of real-life scenes and acts. We will use the cabaret to share visions, obsessions, questions: What does a salary depend on? Being a whore is ok... why do we want to justify ourselves when we talk about it? How do we excite as a man? What do we do with our bodies? How do we look at them or accept them from others? What happens when unpaid work becomes paid work.

Mountain series

Two twin siblings, assigned male and female at birth, believe they have swapped bodies. Pierre longs for the experience of pregnancy, but they are biologically incapable of it. Their sister Lucie wants to abort an unplanned pregnancy. Pierre does not understand why she refuses this privilege. Lucie is under pressure and runs away. She feels the urge to give away her body, like a coat that no longer fits her, while Pierre learns to understand her decision.

  

The other side of the soul

Detached from time and space a man loses himself in the underwater world of his bathroom. He is intimidated by the stereotypical image of the creative female muse. Overwhelmed with his confusion his whole world blows up in flames and he discovers a new approach to sexuality within himself. He decides to leave his dream world in order to create a new one.

I like to paint myself because like this I don't look at myself with vanity. But i observe myself. I develop inner power through introspection and can be a better person as I actively work on my insecurities.

As a stripper I always look very deep in the eyes of the audience members. They get to look at me but I also get to look at them. Like this my art becomes a collaboration of exchanged gazes.
