I created this primarily for the viewer determine their own interpretation, but my inspiration was based on overwhelming feelings. 

Sea of Subconscious 

This is my piece "You Summoned Fire, I Burn" but inverted. I am my own worst enemy, often feeling like "toevah" or an abomination to myself. As a gay transgender man, I am always questioning why I was made this way, and why others see my existence as a "bad" thing. This piece is a representation of those feelings.

In this piece, I was hoping to channel that "inside looking out" feeling that comes with disassociation. 

When the Dust Settles

This piece was inspired by my desire to "put down roots" and to find somewhere that I truly belong.

Roots

I created this piece with my husband in an attempt to normalize LGBTQ+ love while being inspired by the Tanakh: "Go and call out in the ears of Jerusalem, saying: so said the Lord: I remember to you the lovingkindness of your youth, the love of your nuptials, your following Me in the desert, in a land not sown."
